Most hosts we speak to are not unhappy with how their cleaner cleans. They are tired of not knowing whether anyone is going to be there, and of paying an agency a flat fee that has the word Airbnb quietly priced into it.

The more you book, the less it costs an hour
No fee, nothing to join, and no commitment. Your rate comes from the turnaround hours you booked last calendar month and applies to everything you book this month, so it moves with the work rather than with a subscription.

A turnaround is short-notice work on somebody else’s business, and our rate for it is £22 an hour. We charge the same £19 a family home pays. GlowSpark Plus does not reduce turnaround rates. The membership is for households who clean regularly, and a turnaround is already charged below our own Airbnb rate.

Linen, laundry and supplies, honestly
We do not hire out linen, and we will not pretend otherwise. You keep your own sets at the property and we do the changeover: strip, bag, and make up fresh. If there is a machine and detergent on site the cleaner can run a load during the turnaround. Cleaning products and the vacuum live at the flat, which suits short lets anyway, and we restock the consumables you leave in the cupboard.
Do you actually need linen hire?
Linen hire means a laundry owns the sheets. They drop clean sets before each changeover and take the dirty ones away, so you never buy, wash, store or replace linen. It is a genuinely good service, and it is where most Airbnb cleaning companies make their margin.
For one busy listing it is usually not worth it. Keep 3 sets per bed instead. One on the bed, one clean in the cupboard, one in the wash. Three sets per bed means you are never waiting on a machine to finish before a guest arrives, and a set that gets ruined does not cancel your changeover.
Buying three sets costs less than a couple of months of hire, and after that they are yours. If you run several properties and the maths changes, tell us and we will say so.
